DESCRIPTION

FR1000 is a highly effective reaction-type Bromine-based flame retardant. FR1000 is mainly used for the flame retarding modification of EPS and XPS. Compared to other Bromine-based flame retardant, FR1000 has a higher thermal stability which is made possible by the special treatments made to the surface. In addition, FR1000 has a high processing stability and does not cause screw corrosion. Furthermore, FR1000 complies with RoHS.

Appearance: White Powder

 

Bromine Weight Content: ＞23%

 

Loss on Drying: ≤0.5%

 

Melting Point: ＞205 ̊C

 

Initial Decomposition Temperature: 275 ̊C

 

Solubility: Insoluble in Water, Alcohol, Alkane, Cyclane etc.; Soluble in Dichloroethane, Toluene, Acetone, Ether etc.

 

 

APPLICATIONS

 

This product is mainly used for the flame retarding modification of EPS and XPS.
